Learning is about sharing. Its about allowing people to share what they know to people who need it. It’s not about how much you know, it’s about how much value you can get from the knowledge sharing. We call this peer to peer (P2P) training.
Learning is also about collaboration. We understand that learning cannot happen if people cannot contest what you have said, or what has been written. It’s not about who knows more, but rather, its about what can we learn from the exchanges that we are having. All together, the discussion, and information shared becomes a more credible, more sensible piece of information.
Learning finally is about access. If information is always in lock and chains, then we might find ourselves wondering, why, when, who, where and which. Access to information allows people to refine the ones that are ambiguous, allows people to verify and challenge the standards, and finally it allows other people to learn (not just us).
